DENTAL IMPLANTS
This is the part that is surgically placed into the jawbone. It typically resembles a screw and serves as the artificial tooth root.
abutment
This component connects the implant fixture to the prosthetic tooth or restoration. It protrudes from the gum line and provides support for the crown, bridge, or denture.
IMPLANT SUPPORTED RESTORATION
This is the visible part of the dental implant that resembles a natural tooth.
Dental Implant Procedure for All on 6
Success rates of dental implants vary, depending on your overall health and habits. But, for people with good health and oral hygiene habits, implants are successful 95%.
CONSULTATION & TREATMENT PLAN
The process begins with an initial consultation with a dentist. During this appointment, your oral health will be assessed, and a comprehensive evaluation will be conducted to determine if you are a suitable candidate for dental implants. X-rays or other imaging may be taken to evaluate the condition of your jawbone and surrounding oral structures directly in the clinic.
IMPLANT PLACEMENT & OSSEOINTEGRATION
The next step involves the surgical placement of the 6 dental implant fixtures into the jawbone. This is typically performed under local anesthesia to ensure your comfort during the procedure.
The 6 implants are placed precisely into the jawbone at the site of the missing tooth or teeth. Once placed, the gum tissue is stitched closed over the implant, and a temporary restoration may be placed if necessary.
All surgical procedures in our clinic we perform in the operating room.
FINAL RESTORATION
After osseointegration, which takes 3-4 months, a custom-made dental restoration (crown, bridge, or denture) is fabricated to fit onto the abutment and match the shape, size, and color of your natural teeth.
